Timeline
Calflex is the result of an all-Italian story that began more than 35 years ago in a small garage on the shores of Lake Orta, where the company began producing the first items intended for faucets, such as accessories and hoses.
Winning was the intuition born from FIAT: the showerheads with which Calflex conquered the U.S. market were born from an idea, of those born by chance, observing the workmanship of the Fiat 500's wheel covers, so thin and strong. Reproducing curvatures on the showerhead filter similar to those of the car's wheel covers and breaking down the bell and filter to simplify machining and make the showerhead inspectable were the winning choices.
The first major breakthrough is the market launch of the CLIO, TONIKA, and RUBY showers, among the first produced with anti-scale technology through collaboration with designer and planner Bruno Negri.
Thus was born the COLONIAL traditional shower head. A real novelty on the market that the company extends to a full range of items such as columns and duplexes-a step that allows it to increase turnover and move from artisanal to industrial production.
Industrial consolidation was followed by the creation of complete, modern and universal shower columns, adaptable to any type of faucet on the market. Another insight that allowed Calflex to grow further.
Thus, from the collaboration with Eng. Giampiero Castagnoli, the US_0 line was born: a range of recessed or wall-mounted inspectable showerheads, thermostatic columns, and high-flow faucets with a minimalist design and an innovative system to simplify installations.
With the launch of the brand CARIMALI design shower_ space, the company complements the historical production intended for b2b with its own proposal of items intended for b2c. The brand represents the evolution of the shower space as an intimate environment in which to express one's interiority and creativity with complete and customizable wellness solutions.
The CARIMALI brand presents itself as a shower specialist with a full range of items and 3 innovative lines: Colonial, the line dedicated to the Luxury market. MyDream, the line of multifunctional recessed shower heads. MySlim, the line with a minimalist style.
The company strengthened by the successes and consensus of the market, which recognizes in CARIMALI a serious and reliable partner and in its products a perfect combination of quality and design 100% Made in Italy, takes the last step towards the living bathroom sector and completes its proposal with new lines of washbasin and bidet faucets, registering the new brand CARIMALI design water_space.
Flavio Cajelli, at the helm of the company, takes over the legacy of Carimali, which has made craftsmanship and made in Italy its flagship, and amplifies it by applying a new and fresh business model to the established production scheme, capable of facing the entrepreneurial challenges of the future.
